I use to love collars for this in my stories, or earrings and such, but that eartag has an extra level of "This was on a life prey once" energy

Plus the plastic tag is easy to retrieve and easy to clean for claiming as a keepsake, if one wishes! a collar would get kind of gross i feel... though those are also lovely :D
