You go out to your fam who are all sitting in the living room. Your father and mother both seem quite angry with you.
Your sister gives you a soft, reassuring smile. At least it seems someone is on your side.
Your brother just looks at you hungrily as he always does.
"What was with that stunt you pulled this morning?" Your father asks angrily.
You look down shamefully. You know you hate being eaten daily, but how do you bring it up to them, especially when they're both angry with you?
Luckily, your sister has your back.
"Obviously he's sick of being eaten daily by us." She says. "Shouldn't we respect that?"
"Honey, your little brother is food and that's final." Your mother says.
Your sister frowns, as do you.
"Now son, you know the rules." Your mother says. "Who will be carrying out your grounding?"
You feel a shiver up your spine. You know what they mean. A grounding is a formal way of saying "permanent digestion". You never thought it'd come to this, but it has.
