Norm nodded, "I hate to brag, but I think so. Leo isn't much of a fighter and Sota, no offense, but you haven't even battled yet. I've been trained in the ways of the ninja at my homeland a while ago and fended off rogue predators ever since."
"See Catria? We have another competent fighter. With other teams, it's usually the two of us." Penelope taunted. "I suppose" Catria sighed, "but still, I don't want to suffer any casualties. Especially not these guys. Remember the Bidoof from before? He got swallowed by a Poochyena and never returned. We need to make sure that doesn't happen, especially with these ones. If two of us are touching upon entering a floor, we'll always be next to each other. I don't know why it only works with two, but these dungeon work in unexplainable ways. Otherwise, we could all warp to a random part of a dungeon if it decides to split us up. Also, if we pair up and split up, we can cover more ground and clear it faster. The three of us that can fight should pair up with three that can't."
"Oh yeah, that buddy system that team insight showed us" exclaimed Penelope, "but the question is, who gets who?" "Can I stay with Norm?" asked Leo. Norm patted him on the back, "of course you can. We've been buddies for a long time. I don't think Sota will mind right?" You shake your head smiling, "that's ok"
Penelope and Catria glare at each other, looking like another argument could break out at any moment. "Let him choose between the two of us" said Catria. Penelope gave an evil looking smirk at her sister, then noticed Eve looking kind of sad, "It's ok Eve. We still like to teach you, but you also know how we wanted to see this Eevee from the stories. You know what? Whoever gets Sota must tell everything that happened tonight." Eve's eyes light up as she wagged her tail at her oldest sister.
