The trio stared down the rogue ninja as they readied themselves for the battle ahead. Marunomi smiled at them smugly, completely confident in her abilities. Then, suddenly, she took the initiative and charged at the girls. Before any of them knew it, she was right in front of Hinata and delivered a powerful punch to the girl's stomach. Hinata's mouth gaped open as the wind was knocked out of her and she was sent flying.
"Hinata!" Ino cried.
Turning her attention to the blond-haired kunoichi, Marunomi delivered a powerful sweeping kick to side of Ino's torso, knocking her away several feet.
Marunomi then turned to Temari, the one remaining kunoichi, but was overcome with a powerful gust of wind. Temari had swung her fan unleashing a powerful wind jutsu. However, Marunomi stood her ground and then, once the gust had subsided, charged at Temari and slammed her body against her. Temari was launched into the air and collapsed on the earth below.
The rogue ninja smirked and then turned, eyeing the immobile bodies of the three kunoichi.
"Hmph, I would've thought they'd send someone a bit more powerful after me," she said. "Honestly, I'm not even sure you girls are worth eating."
