Pinned down and desperate, you reel back and chuck the football downfield as hard as possible. You wheeze as the big player tackles you, just as the ball leaves your hands. Breathless, you struggle to your feet, hoping to god you didn't just throw an interception.
You didn't. In fact, a quick glance at the scoreboard informs you that, in a blind stroke of luck, you just scored a touchdown, tying the game. Your teammates roar in triumph and pat you on the back, but the game isn't over. You all head off the field, elated but focused as the defense returns.
They other team isn't able to score, so no it's up to the offense to take this opportunity to put the game away. You set up on the field and go to work. The drive starts off well, but you all begin to lose steam as you make your way closer to the touch down. Soon enough, you find yourself in another third down situation. You go for a pass again, and you can already tell it's not going to go well. Nobody is open! You run a serious risk of interception if you throw, and defenders are closing in.
Suddenly you see a path open up, the perfect opportunity to make a run for it. There's a single defender in that direction, if you push past him, you could make it to the touchdown. You're fairly confident you're stronger, so you think you'll be able to shove past. The only other options would be to throw it or take a hit.
