You ask what's happening, but Evelyn dismisses you with a curt "You ought to have asked those questions before you shoved me in Daisy's mouth. It's only fitting I get to digest you." You're not sure the logic here checks out, but you can't argue that you did start this chain of events.
You apologize to Evelyn and beg her not to digest you. She thinks about it in silence. You, however, have to listen to her gut as she slowly kneads you in her stomach acids. "Look, it's not going to make a difference anyway, Gran said we're not getting out of Daisy, so you might as well get digested by me."
You pause while the realization (and her acids) sink in. "Gran's not gonna help us?!" You exclaim. Evelyn squishes you with her arms in reply. "She said she's got a plan and that we're not gonna die. So just hush up and digest quietly. Don't give me too much gas."
