Zazz looked on with a wry grin at the bird with the big belly before him. Too easy, I didn't even have to lift a finger! Kinda looked forward to smacking that pink bitch around, though. Ah well! he thought to himself, then rubbed his hands together and dashed all the way back to the Caliente Kingdom Zone- he had to tell the Deadly Six what had happened so he could claim his bunny banquet.
When he got back, however, what he saw infuriated him. Just like there was a hedgehog-shaped lump in the minty owl's terrible tummy, there was a bunny-shaped bump in Zeena's belly. The green monster girl giggled mockingly, then spoke up:
"Hey, idiot! Did you really think we weren't going to eat the rabbit while you were out on a wild... hedgehog chase?" She said with a smirk.
"Well actually, we were going to. You just ate her as Zazz was showing up to annoy hi-" Zor began to explain in a monotonic drone, but was elbowed by Zeena just before he could finish speaking.
"Shut up!" Zeena whispered harshly at her meek group mate. "Like I was saying Zazz, we always knew we were going to gobble up this little girl for our grub, it was just a matter of getting you to leave. Then I got to her before everyone else, and well, let's just say she was delicious." The green diva said, emphasizing the final word with a teasing lick of her lips to rub it in. Zazz began to fume in response, but then perked up when his source of frustration began to choke. A gloved hand was reaching out of her throat, and it belonged to Cream! She was escaping! Reacting on instinct, Zazz reached into Zeena's maw and grabbed Cream by the hand, pulling her exhausted and saliva-drenched bunny body out as quickly as he could.
"Who's the idiot now?!" Zazz asked derisively, stuffing a mortified Cream into his gullet before she had the chance to even begin making her hard-won escape. Swallowing hard, the magenta monster blew a raspberry at Zeena, who was still choking from having a full girl pulled out of her. Zomom stood by and watched the scene in confusion, feeling oddly left out. He wanted to munch on the bunny girl, but was too lazy to fight for his chance.
Zavok had no such issue. He confidently strode over to where Zazz was standing, rammed his fist down the lanky zeti's throat and then felt around in his stomach for Cream, ignoring the incessant gagging noises that her most recent eater was making. Zeena sneered at Zazz, still bitter about losing her meal to another member of the Deadly Six. When Zavok finally felt the warm bunny body with his red fingers, he ripped her out of his group mate's body violently, showing complete disdain for the squealing rabbit girl in the process. He then casually popped the tyke into his mouth like a piece of popcorn shrimp before she even had the chance to protest and swallowed her down, this time for good. No one dared challenge the group's powerful leader.
Nearby, Zor looked into the distance in self-pity, realizing that he never even got to taste the little mammalian morsel. Master Zik stood next to him and also looked toward the horizon, but not in defeat; rather, he stood proud and patient, and saw total victory in every direction. With Cream dealt with finally by his own protege and her pink protector out of the picture, Zik knew that nothing would stop the Deadly Six from total conquest. They would conquer the Flavopians and eat them alive, then move on to other planets and devour their inhabitants as well. The entire world was their buffet now, and he refused to get bent out of shape over one missed meal when an infinite smorgasbord awaited his arrival.
Zik smiled knowingly as Cream's friends arrived by transporter too late to save her. They would be the first to feed the relentless hunger of the Deadly Six, but far, far from the last.
