As soon as you get on it's head, the crock throws it upwards, launching you up and forward. Normally, you'd recover from such a simple launch by making a forward roll, but your arm is injured - so you fail in executing the roll, and gracelessly roll on your side. A wall stops you from making any progress, and the beast approaches you.
