Temari, Ino, and Tenten had been trying to find Marunomi in the forest for several minutes, but still they had found no sign of her, even with Ino using her sensory jutsu.
“Haven’t you found anything yet, Ino?” Temari asked.
“I’m sorry,” Ino said. “I’m trying the best I can, but I’m not very good at locating things long-distance.”
A few more seconds passed and then Ino finally sensed something.
“Wait, I’ve got something,” she said. “It’s nearby…It feels familiar. I’ve sensed this chakra before, it’s…LOOK OUT!”
Suddenly, what appeared to be a long yellow beam of energy shot out from somewhere in the forest.
