You decide it would be for the best to try to end the fight as quickly as possible. You charge towards the Gorgon with your weapon ready, about to swing away at her when you are suddenly tripped by her tail. Your carelessness has caused you to fall forward and lose track of your sword as it flies out of your hand. The Gorgon takes her advantage and slithers over you, trapping you underneath her tail as she coils you with it. You try to struggle as best you can but in the end it is futile, she grabs the sides of your head and forces your eyes open as she hisses, followed by the hissing of all of the snakes on her head. Her eyes light up and unfortunately for you, you're staring right into them. You start to find it hard to breathe as if your lungs are filling up, your heart rate slowing down dramatically. Chills go through your body as you start to feel cold, as cold as stone. You can hear some kind of cracking sound as you try to move your limbs but find that you can barely get a finger to move, and soon even that is out of your control. You feel your feet touch the ground as she uncoils you but it is already too late for you to survive this. Your heart has nearly stopped and you can no longer breathe, your skin has hardened and changed color, appearing like stone would. You try to gasp but only a puff of dust comes out and soon you are noting but a statue, frozen in the pose you were in just before death.
She looks the statue over a few times from the front and back, slithering around it.
