"Absolutely!" you whisper. The butler, who you note is another crocodile, albeit younger, snaps you up in his mouth. "Uwa-!"
You feel the crocodile escorting you quickly, presumably descending flights of stairs as you feel yourself hitting his tongue repeatedly in short succession. Get me out of here... you pout, feeling your hair begin to soak onto your face. Suddenly, you are spit out onto a floor in a soggy heap.
"Your fight will be next. Please make haste to prepare."
"Ah, who is it against?" you ask.
"It's against the rules to tell you. Good luck."
The crocodile closes the door behind him as you hear the pitter-patter of his quick footsteps returning to the bleachers.
"Ruya!" a voice calls out, "Ruya, foxkin! Your match is up next! Ruya?"
"Ah, here!" you call out, running over to a lion wearing sunglasses.
"Ah, you're a small one, aren't you," the lion notes with a hint of amusement. "Alright, get in there."
"Thanks," you say absent-mindedly. As you walk forward, you thought for a second that you heard the lion laugh behind you, but dismissed it as your imagination as you took the stage.
The Hole wasn't much for introductions- usually, the matches were lined up one after the other, in rapid succession in order to fit the most action into a small amount of time. As such, Ruya took the stage with little more than scattered applause, finding her opponent to be the gigantic bear rumored to have been attending the tournament.
"AHAHA! No way!" the bear laughed loudly, to which the crowd followed suit. "I get to fight this little runt for the first round? What a joke!"
