As you trot down the stairs, you pick up a scent. It seems to be a female of a similar specie to yours, but definitely not an Eevee or its evolutions. It does smell similar to a Flareon, but not quite the same. You peek around the corner to see a Ninetales. You've heard some of them are friendly while others are hostile. This one is observing various objects around the room. She picks up a vase and turns it upside down, pouring out sand. She seems fascinated by it for what you think is some reason until you notice something. The sand keeps pouring out endlessly until she sets it rightside up. She continues tilting the vase and playing with it then says something that makes your heart sink, "You, over there on the stairs. Show yourself." You've been spotted, apparently. Time to come out or run away.
