Despite the risk that came with it, and this technically being none of her business, Salandit decided to help out as she lets out a Smog attack which covers the two Formantis as they start panicking. The girl and Popplio looked on in confusion, before Salandit when and ignited the smog with her Ember, causing an explosion that blew back the two a bit.
"What the?" The girl said as she looked at the resulting crater as she saw the two Formantis were out cold. "What caused that?" She said as she looked around before she spots the small head of Salandit sticking out of the bush.
"Ah, so you were the one who helped us. Thank you." She nods as she went and pulled out a sort of treat, a small malassada it seems. "Here, you can have this as thanks." She said with a smile as she placed it on a leaf for her to get.
Salandit slowly came out and sniffs the air, catching a whiff of the sweet smell. She approaches the dessert with caution, looking at the girl all the while, before grabbing it and running back a safe distance. Once she saw that the girl didn't seem to want to harm her, she decided to bite into the malassada, which she soon found delicious. Salandit smiled as she went and ate the rest up and smiled at the trainer, wondering if she had more of these.
"Sorry, that was the last one I had." She said as this saddens Salandit a bit. "Anyways, thanks for the help." She said as she returns her Popplio before starting to walk away.
Salandit looked on as she starts to wonder about this. Should she follow her? The human seemed kind enough, and she seems to carry some food with her.
