You wake up to the sudden sound of alarms, familiar alarm...
There is a riot going on outside! Someone must have managed to escape and fiddle with the locks to the other cells, for there are a massive amount of slaves fighting just outside your own grid! You only have a few seconds to take it all in before a alien slave (of to you unknown race) runs up to your cell with a device in its hand. It is a sharp, dagger-looking item.
"... Do not make me regret this!" It says in the intergalactic tongue, and jabs the tool into the controls of your cell, shortcutting the protective grid and making it vanish with a shimmer. "Take this and keep it up, I got to go!" The alien then throws you the device and runs off with surprising speed for its slim build.
You take a closer look at the item.
It resembles a dagger, but lacks a sharp cutting edge, it only has a sharp pointy edge at the top that is a little jagged but still sharp and hard enough to pierce the glass screens easily, to allow the exposed wires and chips to mess with whatever machinery inside! You look outside once more to the battle.
You quickly realize that the slaves are the underdogs in this fight, unarmed and poorly equipped against guards with weapons and the entire ship's defences on their side...
If you wish to make it out of here, you need backup! And you can tell that the bigger, more dangerous slaves of the shipment has not been released yet, but could make a major difference in the tides of this rebellion!
With the hacking-dagger in your hand, you run up the stairs to the upper floors where the more bestial races are held. Simply running and stabbing controls as you pass them, you only get quick glimpses of the aliens inside. However, something deep inside of you stops you from stabbing one of the screens, grinding you to a screeching halt upon seeing it. It is a massive, monstrous serpent of some kind... many times bigger than yourself, covered in feathers and with a pair of raptor-like arms folded against its torso...
You are utterly terrified of this... creature. It fills you with a deep fear on an animalistic level, as its eyes targeted yours the second you came into view for it. Surely, this beast could make a vast differ in the battle beneath... but do you risk letting it loose?
