You start to feel bad for the girl, and decide to release her from your grip.

'Meh, she was too small to be a satisfying meal,' you tell yourself, 'there's bound to be something bigger somewhere in these woods.'
You wander off deeper into the woods to find prey capable of satiating your growing hunger.
Hours upon hours pass by as you traverse the woods in search of a meal. A part of you (that part being your stomach) is regretting the fact that you let the trainer go. The loud gurgling of hunger makes this abundantly clear.
The forest grows dark as the sun sets over the treetops. Your sickening hunger gurgles, having failed to acquire both breakfast and lunch.
Finally, after so many agonizing hours, you find a target that will give you the relief you so dearly desire.
