You eventually lumber back into the kitchen, you can hear a little whimper. That is good, food is better rare. You open the doors to see the wincing and rather scared looking lapine, you smother the flames beneath the dish she is in and pull out the plate, savouring the lemony smell. You plop the dish onto the table and inspect the meal, she is no longer grey, the glazing has turned her a brilliant golden brown. You take out a collar and put it on her neck and rather indignantly pull her out of the sizzling dish, she looks releived but is unable to communicate that to you with the apple in her mouth. You decide that is for the best, meals shouldn't talk," Well then, lets get you off to the market, hopefully those philistines will appreciate my work." you say dryly.
Her look of releif turns to dispair as you carry her over your shoulder. She feels like she is going to try and run, but her arms and legs are still bound and after being cooked she wouldn't have the energy anyway, you make it to the market place in no time, taking pride in the hungry glares given towards Carol.
