As Marunomi's eyes surveyed the three kunoichi with a combination of rage and hunger, they eventually settled on Temari. She had already come so close to eating her and she hated to be deprived of a meal. Plus, as the leader of the group, she must have had a ton of chakra. And without her guidance, the other two girls would be lost.That settled it. She was going to eat her.

Wasting no time, Marunomi dashed right towards the Sand ninja with a burst of speed. Temari and Sakura were caught completely by surprise at the rogue ninja's intense speed. Before either of them could register it, Marunomi knocked Sakura aside and grabbed Temari by the collar. Still recovering from her experience inside the bubble, Temari could offer no resistance.

With the young girl in her grasp, Marunomi grinned madly and then opened her mouth impossibly wide. So wide in fact that Temari's head could easily fit inside. The helpless Temari could only stare in stunned horror as Marunomi's large maw lunged down and engulfed her.

"Temari!" Sakura and Tenten cried.

With the Sand ninja securely in her mouth, Marunomi grabbed the sides of Temari's body and then began to shove more of the girl into her as she swallowed her head. Though instinctive fear began to manifest itself, Temari could still offer no resistance as she was still too weak from having her chakra drained. She fidgeted however much she could, but it was utterly meaningless in the face of this ravenous monster that was feeding her into its gullet.

Still feeling quite hungry, Marunomi made short work of the girl, swallowing up her chest and waist and legs, barely noticing the meager resistance Temari put up. Soon, all that remained were Temari's feet and, with one decisive gulp, Marunomi swallowed those down as well. The last of Temari made the quick journey through Marunomi's esophagus and then settle inside her stomach.

As her body was met with the familiar sensation of fullness, Marunomi's rage began to subside. She groped the sides of her belly, which had doubled in size, now with a full human being inside of it. Marunomi sighed and began to rub the bloated sphere, feeling great relief.

"Ahh, much better," she said.

She let out a deep burp and her stomach grumbled in turn as it let out the gas and adjusted to the size of its new meal.

Sakura and Tenten, meanwhile, stood stunned in horror. It had all happened so fast and their minds could still barely register the idea that their friend could be eaten alive by the rogue ninja. But it was true. As if to make the message clearer, Marunomi swerved around, exposing her engorged belly to the two kunoichi. There was no doubt about it. Temari was gone and all that remained of her was her fan that lied on the ground near Marunomi's feet. And now, with just the two of them left, Sakura and Tenten were left to wonder what to do next.
