Jill gave you a satisfied look, then hit a button on a nearby monitor. She waved you over to the transfer pod and closed the door behind you. From outside the glass, Jill winked to you and pressed another button. You were out instantly.
When you awoke, the world around was different than you expected. Instead of miles of trees and bushes and, well, jungle stuff, the sunlight filtered through a small crack in some nearby boulders. The rays stung your sensitive eyes, so you looked away. You were on a small island bearing a single, lonely tree. Off the side of the island, a void of cool air swirled with clouds. A few distant shapes flew in the evening sky, almost like the blades of grass that sometimes fluttered off your small floating enclosure.
It wasn't long before one of the distant flying creatures noticed you snuffling at some tufts of flowers. The scent was amazing, your lupine nose offering much more detail than your human one ever had. Only when a splitting roar pierced the air did you notice a bright red dragon soaring closer. You didn't need enhanced hearing to detect a creature as large as the dragon, and when it landed, you realized it was just as big as it sounded.
You had to make a decision, quick.
