You don't feel like getting up quite yet, so you just get under the covers and sleep for a while longer.
Some time passes and you hear your door creek open.
You ignore it and continue to rest until you feel a gentle hand on your shoulder.
"Son, time too get up for school."
It's your mother. You open your eyes too see her standing there in only a robe.
"You can't be late on your first day." She smiles and kisses your forehead.
"Moooom." You groan with a laugh.
"Oh sorry, no kisses for big boys." She laughs too.
your mom is a beautiful woman, even for 43. She's tall, slender, and a brunette beauty. Some of your friends from your old school thought she was your sister and even hit on her. She politely turned them down. She wears a pair of black glasses and even has a little mole on her chin. someone once said she resembled B*yonetta.
"hurry and get ready for school. We have a big afternoon today as well." Mom says.
"Oh why?" You ask.
"Our neighbors, the Dardana's are having us over for dinner. They even have a boy your age, so I'm sure you'll get along." Mom explains .
"Sounds fun." You say groggily.
"So be sure to hurry home."
"I will mom." You say
She smiles and leaves you to get ready.
You go to the living room and see your two sisters watching the news. They both giggle, then look at you.
"Morning bubby!" Your little sister, Roxy says.
"Sup little bro." You big sister, Fiona says.
"Good morning." You reply.
They turn off the tv and head out the door, you following.
Roxy skips along and you keep a close eye to make sure she doesn't fall.
