The Princess's Adventure - Page 2 - Continue - By Milkyme - Overview
In the Princess Tower
"Now... How to escape? The window is out, the fall would kill me, looks like I need to escape through the front door somehow..." Violetta thought to herself.
"Maybe I could put those old novels I used to read to use..."

Later at night when her Maid had gone to sleep, Violetta rose from bed and grabbed a hair pin.
"Ok, well lets see here..."
Violetta inserted the hair pin into the lock and started to jimmy it.
"Damn, this isn't anything like in my books, well damn it all I'll just break it open!"
As Violetta raised her foot to kick the door down the lock clicked and the door opened.
A shadowy figure was standing in the doorway...
No wait... Not exactly, the figures form seemed to shift in the darkness, two glowing yellow eyes stared back at the young princess.

"You wish to leave this place, correct?"
Spoke the mysterious figure with a unusually calming voice.

Violetta stared at the stranger, not sure what to think, for a moment a chill spread throughout her body.
"RUN"
"Run and get far away from this monster, this is bad"
was all that she could think before catching herself.
With brief hesitation the girl answered.
"Y-yes, I want to leave this place."

"Then you may, Go."
Then the figure dispersed into the shadows.

Now was Violetta's chance.
"Well I'd ought to pick up some armaments and supplies before I leave."

Violetta makes her way through the castle kitchen making some rations for the trip avoiding the nightly patrol.
She then makes it to the armory.
"Well I can't rightly take a full suit of armor, I'll change into some less regal clothes."
"I'll also need a weapon, my magic ends at a simple flare spell... Ah! This rapier will do!"
Violetta changes and grabs the rapier.

"Now my adventure can begin in earnest!"
Violetta makes her way to the castle doors and pushes them open and takes her first step toward greatness... or the dank stomach of some common beast...
