"There's nowhere to run! I'm just gonna have to take it!" Beth spoke out to brace herself as she crossed her arms and held her ground at the Braviary's approach. It was large and looked rather roughed up, scars and marks over it that showed it had been in more than a few scraps but some of them looked actually recent. Having no time to ponder further about her assailant, Beth held firm as the Braviary crashed into her with a strong Brave Bird attack, having looked to put down an easy meal to regain his strength. "GAH!" Beth gasped as she slid across the ground but managed to stick up on her feet. Reeling from the blow, Beth looks up the see the Braviary flailing to struggle keeping airborne after the recoil of the massive hit.
"N-Now!" Beth realized she wasn't gonna have another chance as she rushed forward with a quick attack before the Braviary could regain it's stability, striking him back down into the ground and knocking it out. "...*huff*...*huff*...Oow..." Beth panted and groaned from the exhaustion of the attack and the pain from the blow, making sure the desperate avian was out cold. "...I...I did it..." She gasped in shock, taking this reprieve to grab a more potent berry from her leafy pouch. Not willing to stick around and wait for the big bird to regain consciousness, she made off quick to continue her trek across the mountains.
