Ino head spun as she stood up, trying to balance herself and shifting her weight from one leg to the other. Though her vision was still hazy, she just managed to see that Marunomi was pointing the Behemoth's Tongue right at her. In an instant, the device shot out a burst of light that headed straight towards her. Realizing that, if the light struck her, she would be making a quick trip down Marunomi's gullet, Ino focused her mind and her muscles. Though still disoriented, Ino managed to leap quickly to the right, just dodging the path of the energy whip. She collapsed on the ground, still dizzy, and steadily turned around. The whip flailed wildly in the air before sputtering out and receding.
Marunomi pulled her arm back and looked at the Behemoth's Tongue, which was once again dormant and lifeless. Her eyes were stern with frustration. She turned her gaze to the Leaf ninja, still clumsily trying to get back on her feet. Marunomi's scowl shifted to a smirk.
"Well, I guess this just means I get to have a little more fun with you," Marunomi said. She licked her lips and placed a hand on her bloated belly. "Before I swallow you up!"
Though Ino's focus and balance was returning to her, she was still quite weak. She watched as the rogue ninja slowly approached her, her enormous stomach bouncing lightly with each step. Ino had no idea what to do, but she knew that if she didn't do something soon, she would end up trapped inside the rotund sphere, just like Tenten and Temari.
