Vore High [resurrected story] - Page 243 - Paper. - By Journeyman - Overview
an addition by: Journeyman

What the hey, you let the wind carry you off. Swirling high in the air, you only panic momentarily—paper can’t get hurt falling! You can see the whole campus from here, tri-k’s dorms still very distinct from the rest. And you’re being carried towards a small clearing, just off of campus…

You drift easily over the thin line of trees and hear a shout below; evidently you’re not alone!

The wind is broken by the trees, and you descend to find yourself surrounded by a dozen or so smiling faces. And then you see: they’re all 2D!

“Hi! I’m Jennifer! Welcome to our secret little neck of the woods.” You turn and shake hands with an attractive brunette. It’s amazing how 3D everyone looks from in front! Jennifer continues her recitation, “You’ve probably just realized, the prevailing winds on campus carry over these woods. Everyone here has gotten into the same situation as you at least once, so we decided to just set up camp here!”
Jennifer has very pretty green eyes and a simple, attractive face—you notice she’s stopped talking. “Wow, this is crazy! How many 2D people are there?”

A guy answers this time. “Not too many, but as you can imagine, most find their way here just because of the breeze. Or get eaten by dogs-“ Jennifer gives a little shudder-“but we never meet them.”

Another guy, who looks like an upperclassmen, picks up the conversation. “At any rate, you can make this your home if you like. Now that you’ve found us, you’re welcome in anytime. Just find an empty room—you’ll find we don’t take up much space! And there are meals more… proportional… to our needs over—“ he points “—there at 8, 1, and 6. I guess that’s all you need for now, ask any of us if you need anything, ok?” The welcome party departs, but Jennifer remains to talk to you.

“So,” she begins, “are you going to stay?”

“Well,” you’re thinking about it, but there’s a more pressing demand, “maybe, but is there anywhere that I can get, um, back to 3D?”

Jennifer looks crestfallen. “You mean you’re not originally 2D? Like a toon?”
“Um,”
“Most of us here are. I definitely can’t stick around you, though—if you eat me, I’m history!” Jennifer hurries away blushing.

So, toons can eat toons, toons can eat people, but people have to watch out when eating toons. Hmmm.
