"Aaargh!" Carter stumbles backwards and sprays fire randomly as the mutated facehugger bursts out. It's way too quick and Carter is too surprised to aim and it skitters across the floor. You and Sawyer flick your guns down but just as you open fire it jumps, your fire going wild and...
... You swim back to consciousness, and then heave over, coughing and hacking. On the floor infront of you is the facehugger, dead... but no bullet wounds.
"What the fuck?" You gasp. "Wait... oh shit!" you start patting your throat then stomach. If that thing layed an egg!
"I.. I think it's OK." Sawyers says, but she looks confused. Carter and Sarge are covering the rest of the room. "It got you OK, but it only stayed on for... like five seconds, thrashing the whole time like it was on fire or something. Then it died and yanked that sucker out your throat."
Your vision blurs for a moment.
"Whatever happened to it, it did do something to me.. I feel funky."
