The spider's large body looms over you. Seeing a possible oppertunity, you thrust out with your free leg. Your foot strikes squarely on it's midsection, causing it to topple backwards. Chittering angrily, it vanishes into the darkness below. You now seem to be safe, for the moment, but there is still the issue of you being stuck. You look around, trying to see if you can find a tool or rock that could help cut the webbing. You hear a mummbled groan of sorts above you. You keen your eyes in the direction of the sound. It's a cocooned female elf, suspended upside down from the roof of the cave. She must have been the owner of the bag. You call out to her, and she reacts, thrashing back and forth in her silk prison. While its comforting to see she's still alive, she also is obviously going to be of no help to you. You continue your search, and notice a sharp looking stone fragment just barely out of reach. If you could somehow free your arm, you might be able to grab it. Although from your initial struggles, you noticed the webbing did stretch a bit. You might be able to rock the web slightly, possibly swinging you in range to grab the fragment.
