You keep at it cutting away at your ropes. The pig gets closer and closer. You fear this may be it but right as you feel like running for it, your ropes break off. You quickly grab the shears and turns them at the pig. Who right as you turn the shear towards him, walks right into the shears. They sink into his gut easily.
All is quiet for a moment as you and the pig look down at the shears. But then from the cut from the shears. Glowing green liquid spews out on your face. At first you think it might be blood. But you find this green substance doesn't smell of iron. So it can't be blood.
The pig squeals out in anger as he tries to grab you with one hand, while the other tries to stop the liquid from spilling out. But as the pig grabs you, his hand seems to melt into the same stuff from his wound. He squeals out more in anger as his whole body melts into the green goo. You slowly slump to the floor as the pig melts away. You see John and Terry laying in the pile of goop and soon both rise up breathing hard.
"W-We're alive?" John whimpers out with tears in his eyes.
"Y-Yeah...I thought we were goners there for a second." Terry sighs out as he stands.
"What is this stuff?" John asked as he stood up.
"I-... I think it's ectoplasm." Terry answers.
"What's that?" John inquired as he tried to get the goo off.
"Stuff from ghost....This doesn't sit well." Terry said as he too tried to get the stuff off.
"These things are ghost?!" John yelled clearly terrified.
"I think so." Terry said and turned to you, " Thanks for the save buddy."
You just nod and get up too. Terry looks at the shears and picks them up.
"Well now we know we can hurt them." Terry states.
Terry looks at the shears and hands them to you. You know Terry is a pacifist; so he handed the shears to you as you're the only one among the three who'll attack the creatures. John looks around for clothes but only finds the shreds of your guys clothes in the corner.
"Okay, here's the plan. We go in, find Tweedledum and Tweedledee, then get out." Terry says as he leads you and John back to the backyard door.
"M-Maybe we should just leave." John says.
"We can't just leave them." Terry says.
"B-But what if they're already eaten?" John questions.
"I know you're scared...But we can't leave our friends behind." Terry says and tries to comfort John.
After a minute outside you three go inside and look around the foyer you look around.
"I was checking upstairs when I heard John yell earlier. Lets keep looking up there." Terry orders.
You three walk up the stairs before you stop and see long halls to your left and right.
"Well, which way should we check first?" Terry asks you.
The left hall has many doors some of which are cracked open. The right halls has doors too, but it has a stairwell you can see from here. It may lead to the third floor.
