You gaze at Violet, then manage a slow nod, "Okay... As long as you are sure."
"Ana. I don't know why you have this idea that you are just meant to be food, but trust me," she looks away from you to where Ven is playing and calls put, "Ven! Come here! I have a surprise for you!"
The Growlithe begins to make what you believe are noises of anticipation as he charges over, "Apple?"
"Not quite. Ven, listen," the Growlithe cocks his head as Violet looks over to you, "Ana, would you ask him?"
You stare at the fiery puppy. You mouth feels uncannily dry as you murmur, "Ven, can you eat me?"
Violet nods, her eyes sparkling with encouragement as she turns back to Ven, "Ven, Ana asked you to eat her. Never eat her unless she asks you to, Ven.
"Eat?"
"Only if Ana tell you to. Now, when you eat Ana, do not bite. She won't let you eat her again if you hurt her."
The Growlithe stares at Violet, then his gaze creeps over to you, "No eat?"
"If you hurt her, yes. Remember, Ana is family. We do not hurt family. Okay?"
"Okay!" Ven advances toward you, eyes glittering. You literally see him start to drool when Violet barks.
"Ven, no! Let Ana come to you unless she wants you to come after her. Ana?" You give another nod and slowly slink towards the puppy. His tail is wagging madly, clearly telling you he is going to enjoy this. However, as you get close, you are surprised by Ven tilting his head.
"Ana? Scared?"
You shake your head, "N-No... Yes? I don't know..."
