Adventure in fairy tales land - Page 35 - You tried befriending Delilah - By kernac - Overview
(Chapter written by Hiccup)

A few weeks slowly pass by, trapped in the doll house with your new family. The monstrous Delilah vigilantly keeps an eye on all of you in case one of you tries to escape. Cabin fever begins to set in. Your new family is starting to get… a little annoying.

Late one night, you were unable to fall asleep after the rest of your family had gone to bed. You stare out the window of the doll house and sigh. Surely this can’t be what the fairy godmother intended when she sent you to this world?

Suddenly, a large reptilian eye appears in front of the doll house window as Delilah stares in at you. “Oh, still awake at this hour? Why don’t you step outside for some fresh air? That should help you get to sleep.”

“N-no thank you, I’m comfortable in here.” You respond, not falling for her trick to get you to leave the doll house.

“Damn, I’m starving. It’s been ages since my last snack.” The Iguana mutters as she starts to move her head away from the window.

“Wait!” You realize that this is the first chance you’ve had to talk with the large lizard, “Please Ms Delilah, will you let us escape?”

“What’s wrong?” The large eye returns the window, “Do you want to leave already? You’re going to hurt my feelings, haha!”

“Please, it’s not right to keep us trapped here!” You beg, “What can I do to convince you to let us escape?”

“Hmmm?” Delilah hums as she ponders your offer, “Very well, I’ll allow YOU to escape, but in exchange… I get to eat your family.”

“What?!” You exclaim in shock.

“I’m starving, but Mistress Amy’s enchantments on the doll house prevent me from snacking on anyone inside it.” The Iguana explains, “But if you were to trick your entire family into leaving the doll house, I would be able to eat them.”
