Ash woke up in a daze, got up very slowly, due to the fact she was very dizzy. "Ah, my head. What just happened?" She took a good look of her surroundings, and was very suprised at what she saw. She was standing on the flat side of an asteroid that had been cut clean in half. The asteroid itself was floating in the middle of space, only there were no planets or other asteroids, just the one she was on and the stars around it. Then she noticed a door that was connected to nothing seemed to be the only other thing on the asteroid, or so she thought.
"Well, well ,well what do we have here?" A voice said behind her. Ash screamed and spun around, when she saw the speaker she was so shocked she fell flat on her ass. Standing before her was a three foot tall imp with very dark grey skin that was a shade away from being black, and neon green hair and eyes. It was wearing a black hoodie and black baggy pants with a grey T-shirt. It had its arms behind its back and a smug grin on it's face, it's two foot long tail was swishing left to right, like a dog wagging it's tail. "What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" It then opened its mouth and ripped out it own tongue. Ash let out a small gasp at the small act of self mutilation. However it kept it's mouth open long enough for her to see it start to grow back.
Ash sat silent for a moment, then screamed at the top of her lungs. The imp quickly covered it's ears and yelled. "What the fuck?!" It stumbled back and soon fell over the edge of the asteroid. For a moment Ash thought she was safe, but then with a fwoosh a small portal that looked like it was made of smoke appeared five feet above the ground in front of her facing down. A second later the imp fell through it making vanish instantly, crashed and hard onto the ground. It slowly got up holding it's back. "Uh, my back. Oh yeah, I'm gonna feel that in the morning." It looked at Ash. "What the fuck was that for?!" Ash finally managed to find her voice. "What the hell are you?!" She yelled at the top of lungs. "Oh, right it seems I haven't introduced myself. My name is Tak. And what would be your name pretty lady?" Tak said in a very gentlemanly manner while he gave a small bow. "My name is Ash. Where in the hell are we" She said looking around again. Tak just shrugged. "The hell if If I know."
"All I do know is 'what' it is." He said with a mysterious grin. "What is it?" Ash asked nervously, a little creeped out of Tak's grin. "It's the beginning of a journey you'll never forget!" Tak walked over to the door. "Beyond this door is the next step in our little adventure." With that said he opened the door and walked in closing it behind him. After that Ash was all alone. "Tak?" She got up and walked over to the door. When she opened it she was expecting to see Tak on the other side still on the asteroid, but instead she saw a huge portal made of smoke like the one Tak made. Ash was so shocked she just stood there, unsure of what to do. As she debated weather or not to go in she heard a crumbling noise behind her. She turned around to find that the asteroid was falling apart. "OH, SHIT!!!" Without thinking a moment longer, Ash jumped through the portal just as the asteroid fell apart completely.
