From the surface of the water, you see a green, bulky head emerge. The ripples it causes sent your leaf riding away from it, but you manage to stroke the twigs to prevent you from riding the small wave. The head that came out of the water belonged to a crocodile. You begin to wonder why it's in a lake. You stand, frozen in fear as it lowers its eyes down to you. Then, it opens its massive mouth. Each tooth is larger than a house, and its tongue is vast field.
Instead of staring into the throat, you paddle away from the massive reptile, but in the process the twigs snap, leaving you an open target.
