Your baser instincts kick in. It's fight or flight, and you instinctively choose flight. You move to run, but the bird is quicker. It swoops its long neck down and snags you up in its beak. This time, it doesn't have to dig for you: it gets you in deep into its beak, and because you have no real buffer this time, you go down easy.

The enormous Egret throws its head back again and you slip down its enormous beak and into its gullet, which happily grips you. Because its peristalsis isn't particularly strong, it has to shake its neck violently and use gravity to pull you down.

If anyone dared to be around long enough to see, you're little more than a lump traveling slowly down this bird's throat. It's a bit slimy, a bit fleshy, and the smell reminds you of rotting fish. You gag a little, but soon, you hit bottom.. and you coil into the enormous bird's belly.

When you're all the way down, you lurch and are thrown forward, tumbling about as the Egret takes flight again. You can tell it's taken flight, but it's the last thing you get to really appreciate, as that gurgling stomach starts to make quick work of you.

There's no hope of being saved now.
