The sun has set, and the woods begin to grow chilly. You know you can't be more than a few miles from the entrance of the Xiao Canyons, but the light is already failing, and bumbling through the darkness will gain you nothing. It appears you will have to wait untill tommorrow to continue your journey.
Min yawns. "This clearing looks like a good place to stay the night. Let's camp here."
You and Min lay out your blankets and spoon each other for warmth. Crickets chirp, and a gentle breeze rustles through the leaves of the bamboo plants. Being this exposed makes you a bit anxious, but the quiet of the forest brings you peace. You take comfort in your isolation; you are far less likely to encounter a member of the Order of the Beast here than in a city. You breath a little sigh, and relax.
