With a yelp, the naga's stomach muscles push Rhyce down into the valve. He tries to grab onto you for help, but soon realizes that all he is accomplishing is pulling you in with him. In a moment of clarity, he lets go of you. Slowly, more and more of him slides further down the naga's gullet, until he has completely disappeared from sight.

Ulysses' laugh echoes around you. The naga shifts positions, causing the stomach you are in to press up against the second stomach. You can hear Rhyce yelling and swearing and feel him pummeling the walls of the second stomach, but to no avail.

Eventually, you hear the naga's second stomach start to gurgle and churn. Rhyce's struggles become more urgent for a while, before he slowly stops struggling at all. A chill runs up your spine when you realize what this means. You can hear every gurgle as Rhyce is digested and you shudder when you think that that could have been you. And might still be you.

Ulysses lies back in the sun as the bump in his second stomach slowly gets smaller and smaller, until the only sign that Rhys ever existed is his discarded armor and sword.
