You aren't really that hungry at the moment, and you should probably get to your room sooner rather than later, since your roommate will be wanting to settle in as well. Following the instructions given to you by the secretary, you depart from the rear exit of the student center and walk toward the dorms. There will be time to socialize later.
Along the way you notice a large in-ground pool outside of Amazon Hall. You have no swimwear at the moment, but it's something to consider for later. During your walk, you also get an idea of the many different sentient creatures that comprise the student body and school faculty. Just to name a few, you pass by nagas, an antro squirrel, three types of taur, a few humans, and several nekos. You even spot one imposing woman at around 8 feet tall that looks like an anthropomorphic dinosaur. You don't get to look long, however. Everyone, including you, has places to be. The most you get in the way of greetings are an occasional smile, or passing wave.
Soon, you arrive at Velvet Hall. It's the second largest dorm on campus, and the third largest building overall. There's three entrances, but the closest is the main entrance at the front and center. Of course you could always try going to the north or south door instead, if you feel like avoiding foot traffic. A walkway surrounds the building.
You double check your keys for your roommate number, which is 319, and then decide which door to enter.
