You step off and draw your sword. "I have bested far worse than you." You say, trying to be intimidating.
However, you know this to be only half true. You have bested worse, but that's only true since you had Serice by your side. And currently, she is sleeping, leaving you on your own to fight.
"Very well then." The raider woman says. "Beat me and we'll let you go."
you gulp nervously as she draws a large mace.
"Oh no." You mutter as she slams it down in front of you.
you leap back a bit and get into a defensive position. You look back to see that Serice hasn't even budged.
"Damn, she can sleep through anything can't she." You say and lunge at the raider. You manage to knock her off her feet and draw the sword to her neck.
"Yield." You say.
she smirks. "Very well. You win this time, but we'll meet again."
she and her raiders leave. She looks back and gives you a wink before heading into the woods.
You get back into the carriage and one Serice on the cheek. "Hey, I need you awake."
she opens her eyes slowly.
