The Adventures of Lulu - Page 52 - Kindness Kills - By Megaladong - Overview
"Thank you Zuk, but you look hungrier than me. You take it."

"Really?!" He sounds so happy.

"Yeah, go ahead," you smile at him.

He picks the berry up and gulps it down quickly. His tail begins to grow brighter.

"Thanks Lulu," he looks at your face, he can tell you're still hungry. "Will find more soon I know it!"

You've never had a razz berry before. Back in the tribe the males would bring berries to the females to gain favor. Your mother warned you not to take razz berries from males. She said it would make you a pushover. The young pikachu boys would line up to mount you and you would never say no. You now know what she meant. The razz berry gives you a high that makes you relaxed and makes you feel that everything will be okay.

You can tell that Zuk has the same buzz going on. He giggles then you giggle back. "Comz on letss go buddy" you say. You both stumble down the trail feeling good.

Soon you see up ahead more razz berries, a whole pile of them! You are so happy to see them you don't even care to look around.  Both you and Zuk run up to them. Zuk digs in right away munching the berries down.

You pick one up. Suddenly, you snap out of the razz berry high. You see something laying just behind the pile of berries. It's a purple tail of a rattata and it's not attached to anything. A shiver runs down your spine. A splotch of thick purple acid drops from above and lands near the tail. You look up.

You see three weepinbell hanging on a tree branch right above you and Zuk. One has something already in its trap, you assume the rattata. The other two have empty gaping maws positioned right above yours and Zuk's head. Their purple acids are dripping ready for dinner.

You freeze in fear. "What's the matter Lulu aren't you hungry?" Zuk sees you looking up. He looks up too.

The weepinbell  drops down on your heads. The weepinbell's lip grab tight around your midsection and begins sucking. You feel your back paws leave the ground as it slowly pulls you up into its tree. Its powerful lip begins to suck you deeper into its trap. You try and use Thundershock but you are still too tired. You are at a hungry weepinbells mercy. This is bad.

As it pulls you up into the tree it slowly works its lip down you. You kick and struggle but it's no use, its grip on you tight. Before long you feel your back paws join the rest of your body inside the trap. You are fully ensnared, your fate sealed. Only your tail sticks out of the weepinbell. It's dark inside and the acids burn you. You yell for help but all you hear in return is the muffled screams of Zuk. Is this really how it ends, as plant food? Your life feels pointless now. You fell for a simple trap and got you and Zuk killed. Your quest for a Thunder Stone seems stupid now but you can't give up yet. You try and bite and scratch the inner walls of the weepinbell but they are coated in a thick slimy membrane, preventing you from doing any damage.

The weepinbell lets you struggle for a minute, probably enjoying itself, then ramps up acid production. Its mouth fills with burning acid and powerful wall muscles move you around easily, coating you evenly. It pushes acid deep into your undercoat, burning your skin. Before long the acid covers your mouth and you begin to drown.

You hold your breath for as long as you can as the acids slosh around you but eventually give up. Your lungs force you to breathe in the purple acid. The pain is excruciating. It feels like you are being melted from the inside. You writhe and struggle but finally your body gives up. You go limp and grow cold. As you fade, you feel at peace.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The pikachu gives up holding her breath. She kicks and struggles hard but soon goes limp. The weepinbell looks content. He would have been happier with the charmander but he'll take what he can get. He sucks on the pikachu's body. She's already melting. He'll let her stew for a while then suck on her. He gets more flavor that way.
The weepinbell looks over at his tree mate who got the charmander. The charmander is still fighting but is slowing down. Eventually he stops and goes limp. The tail gets dim, then puffs out. A thin trail of smoke wafts into the air.
The other weepinbell is still working on the rattata it got earlier today. That's unfortunate for it because rattata is not the best tasting, plus they eat those all the time but it fought hard for it. Now it looks jealous.
The sounds of smacking and slurping fill the air around the tree as the three weepinbell digest there easy meals. It's a sound that often comes from razz berry trees. The razz berries make prey docile and easy to catch. Weepinbell all over the forest love to use them as bait. The pikachu's body should last about two days. The weepinbell will store the excess energy in his vine. He's jealous of his tree mate who gets to eat the charmander. He's eaten quite a few pikachu but he has never even seen a charmander. He bet it tastes great.
To be fair this pikachu is pretty yummy too. It's a female. They are rarer to find out here but they taste better because of the extra fat. She was a fighter too. The weepinbell likes fighters. They always fight until their bodies give up. He likes seeing the impressions of their little paws push against his skin.
Sometimes when he wants to eat some poultry he will turn himself upside down. Then he places a razz berry in his trap and waits. Eventually a pidgey or spearow will fly by and try and peck the berry out not realizing it's a trap. The way they squirm makes them fun to eat.
He closes his eyes to rest. Soon after he falls asleep the pikachu's tail detaches, due to acid corrosion, and floats to the ground. It will be the only evidence she ever existed.
Over the next two days the lump in the weepinbell gets smaller and smaller until it finally opens its mouth. When it does, nothing comes out. The pikachu is completely digested. Every ounce of her is used up. He picks a few more razz berries from the tree and lays them on the ground below him. It hides her tail in a bush nearby. The weepinbell waits patiently for his next victim.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thus ending your story.  You ended up plant food. The only thing left of you is a heart shaped yellow tail. You are forgotten by the tribe and even the weepinbell as just another meal. You leave no legacy but hey, at least you were tasty!
