You watched his chest move up and down with each breath, your body lifting and falling with it. You were always surprised how easy it was for him to fall asleep.
You turn back and forth assessing the sleeping from his slightly open mouth, a drop of saliva already pooling at its edge, to his almost comically bent legs and occasionally twitching toes.
If you listened carefully you could the gurgling and inner workings of his body. While they were functionally the same as your own they seemed infinitely more fascinating.
