There is no reason to try and save the trainer. The umbreon seems to have no interest in you. You'll take him to her and get out of there. You both sit quietly under the tree for over twenty minutes as the rain passes.
The rain clears up. "Let's go," he says. He reaches back and bites your tail again then unpins your shoulders. You stand up and walk. After another long walk you end up at the girls camp again. She is sitting outside of her tent dressed in her eevee costume. She has Duchess's collar in her hands and she is crying.
The umbreon says nothing and releases you. He slips into a bush nearby. He watches her for a minute then exits the bush and walks towards her. She doesn't notice him until he's ten feet from her. She looks up. They both pause for a moment and she says something but you can't quite make it out. He lowers his head and growls. His markings glow yellow. He slowly creeps towards her. She stands up and walks backwards looking terrified and timidly saying, "good boy." She trips over some camping gear and falls on her ass. She tries to back pedal but the umbreon is now just inches away from her.
This is about to get real ugly. You should probably just leave. Then again you do have a morbid curiosity. Should you stay and watch or leave now?
