Jennifer looked carefully at Gina, who in turn seemed anxious for an answer. To be perfectly honest, she had no idea what Umberth was 'all about', except that it certainly wasn't in the top ten private schools in the country. Probably not even in the top 1000. When her parents angrily decided to send her to private school, they didn't care about those kinds of things- location and price were all they were concerned about.

Of course, Jen could not let this fact be known, or she'd be the laughing stock of the school. She knew how these rich kids were. "Umberth College?" she asked Gina, a sure sign that what came next would be a lie, "Of course I know what its about. I mean, who would come to a school without checking it out first, right?"

Gen nodded her head ferociously, sending her pillows on into a bout of rough seas. Obviously, it didn't take much to convince the Big Green Pillow.

Gina, on the other hand, looked entirely unconvinced. "So, you know about Lady Umbert, and the Great Untold Plague of '64? You know about 'The Gift', right?" she asked, pressing details that Jen couldn't possibly know. And by the look of Jen's face, Gina knows that she is looking at one of the 'Untold'. She sighs.

It is that precise moment, thankfully, that the discussion was cut short by a high pitched, exciting, "Oh my God!" coming from Gen. It was immediately followed by a near-identical shrill coming from the hallway. Genevive jumped up and down (and up and down and up) in place, then ran out into the hallway. The others were forced, by the sheer noise of it, to investigate the commotion.

Standing in the hallway next to Genevive was an exact replica of Genevive. Same red hair. Same freckles. Same overstuffed green sweater. In fact, the only thing separating the one from the other was the tummy.

Ginger, for that most certainly must have been who that was, was heavily, enormously pregnant. Her tummy lifted her sweater up, showing breast flesh and confirming that the Ramsey clan thought better of undergarment support. It rumbled and rippled about, devoid of stretchmarks but bearing a look akin to a sunburn. Despite this obviously heavy bump, she still seemed remarkably agile, matching her sister bounce-for-bounce (for-bounce-for-bounce).

"Oh my God, Ginnie! You did it!" Gen exclaimed, patting her sister's tummy. "Lord, you really did it!"

Jen just stared, jaw dropped. 'A pregnant girl, at a private school?' This went against everything she'd ever heard of private education. Gina spoke up, "Wow, looks pretty big for a rookie. How do you feel?"

"Are you kidding? Nothing can compare!" came the Enormously Gravid Green Pillow's dreamy reply. Then she snapped out of her bewildered-looking stupor, cocked her head to one side and said, waving, "Hi there! I'm Ginger Ramsey. Pleased to meet'cha!"

'Oh lord, they memorized it together!' Jen thought, her mind still reeling over the whole scene. Gen smiled and hugged her sister. "Ginnie, this is Jen and Gina. Gina and Jen, this is Ginnie. Wow, girl, how'd you do it?"

"More importantly," Gina said, stepping between Jen and Ginnie (as if to protect her from something unknown), "who is it?"

Ginger replied,
