You turn to a page titled "Crystones". You read the words, seeing that they seemed to be runes glowing with some kind of enchantment. Perhaps that's why you can read the draconic text and see it translated as English. You make a mental note to ask Draco about that. You read the words and take in what you read.

"Crystones are dangerous, crystalline monsters that live deep in the underground. They feed off of living creatures, taking their energy and power for their own uses. They have a hive mind intelligence, and most Crystones are simple minded drones. Over time, they can transform a living creature they have captured into a crystal drone doppleganger of their former bodies. They wield the dragon element of Crystal, and they can also shut down a creature's neural senses temporarily through a different kind of hypnosis."

You shudder. You hope you never meet one of those.
