Just as quickly as Marunomi had appeared before Hinata, she vanished from her sight and reappeared behind her. She grabbed the girl’s shoulders and Hinata remained still, too stunned to move. Marunomi opened her mouth and plunged her head down, engulfing Hinata's upper body.

As Hinata fell into the dark moistness of Marunomi's mouth, she was stricken with shock and terror. It had all been so sudden and she could hardly do anything to resist. Her mind raced, trying to think of anything she could do, but she was left only with the horrid realization that she was about to be eaten.

Meanwhile, Sakura, picking herself up from the ground, looked over just in time to see the scene occurring. She could do nothing but scream out, “HINATA!”

Marunomi took a gulp, feeding Hinata's head into her throat. She steadily raked more of the girl into her, swallowing her chest and waist. Aside from a bit of fidgeting, Hinata barely put up any resistance. Marunomi threw her head back, sending Hinata's legs into the air and downwards into her gullet. In no time at all, Marunomi was down to Hinata’s feet and, with one final gulp, sent the entirety of the girl into her waiting stomach.

Marunomi’s belly, once again, expanded tremendously. She caressed the humongous sphere and moaned with pleasure.

“Mm mmm! A scrumptious girl indeed!” she said before letting out a hearty belch.

Marunomi turned her attention back to Sakura; the last ninja standing. Sakura simply stood there trembling. Marunomi delighted in the fear in her eyes and she tauntingly stroked her stomach.

“Ah, now isn't this perfect?" said Marunomi. "Four of you little interlopers in my stomach, and me with room for just one more.” She licked her lips as she eyed Sakura hungrily.

Sakura was at a loss. She had no idea what to do. Hinata, the one person who could have defeated Marunomi, was gone. One-by-one, all of her teammates – her friends – had been devoured by the monster before her. And now she seemed to be inextricably destined to the same fate.
