You watch with growing dread as the end of the escalator looms larger and larger. A young woman about ten steps ahead of you tries to run away from the fox, but he isn't having it. Her screams echo through the subway tunnel as the fox snatches her up and gives her a few punishing snaps with his jaws before unceremoniously swallowing her.

Now it's your turn. You watch the escalator stairs disappear before you, five steps, then four, three, two, one, and you're at the escalator landing at the top of one tunnel. Another tunnel, this one fleshy and red, yawns in front of you, its first step made of teeth.

Alright, you think, taking a quick nervous breath. Let's see what happens. You step into the jaw and fall onto the raspy tongue.

Instantly the jaws snap shut around you, and for a long moment you lie in the dark, confined space wondering what'll happen next.

Your ears are then assaulted by a loud, high-pitched whine and you are flung rather rudely onto the street.

The fox growls at you as you get to your feet and brush yourself off, then takes out its aggression on a few more subway passengers.
