“Well here’s the staff room. Maybe someone left their lunch behind.†Jake walked into the door and suddenly froze.
“Jake? What is it?†Jane ran up to see for herself why her brother stopped so suddenly and looked into the room. Lying on its side in the middle of the room was some kind of large black wolf. Its fur was pitch-black, it had a single eye on its face, but it was closed so it seemed to be asleep. It had one of it’s forepaws over its enlarged stomach which seemed to be moving as the creature slept. Some muffled sounds could be heard coming from it. Jane almost let out a scream, but Jake quickly placed his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet.
“SHHH!!! You don’t wanna wake it up!†Jake whispered harshly. Jane calmed down a little and nodded back to Jake to inform him she wouldn’t scream.
“I...I think it ate someone...†Jane whispered. She began to tremble at the horrific sight. “Jake, let’s get out of here! I don’t wanna be around when it wakes up.†They both slowly walked backwards, unable to keep their eyes off the creature from fear of it waking up. Suddenly Jake hit something.
