"What is it?" Rosalina asked, curious as to what intrigued Peach so suddenly.
"It's nothing serious. It's just... well, our clothes seem to have magically changed themselves, haven't they? We were wearing leotards, and now we're in dresses. How is that possible?" Peach asked in return.
"Oh, I can explain this." Rosalina assured her friend. "The magic of the Power Stars we are carrying around is interacting with the princess magic sewn into our outfits, causing the outfits to change on their own. It's a complicated process that would take a long time to explain, so I will refrain from doing so for the sake of those with lesser attention spans-" with this, Rosalina glanced sideways at Daisy, but she didn't seem to notice. "-but basically, it's just something that happens when Power Stars are around royalty. I felt the interaction happening when we used our spells, but I did not think anything of it. Sometimes I forget that not everybody has studied stars as extensively as I have."
"Oooh, neat! Rosalina, you're so smart!" Toadette complimented the space princess, startling the her and Peach slightly as she poked her pink head in between them.
"Yeah, thanks. Y'know, I'm glad you told us that, because I was gonna ask, but I didn't wanna feel dumb about it." Daisy admitted.
"Oh, Daisy, you never
have to feel dumb around us. I tease you at times, but only because we are such good friends." Rosalina said through a warm smile, placing a comforting hand on her companion's shoulder.
"Aw, you're gonna make me blush..." Daisy whined jokingly, her eyes turning to the side. "Hey, I think I see a Power Star over there in the distance!" She shouted and pointed, apparently not heeding her lesson about making noise from earlier.
"Oh, yes, our stars' lights are pointing that way. It must be a Power Star!" Rosalina exclaimed, but with a quieter voice.
"Let's go!" Peach beamed, happy to have found another beacon.
