You're not sure which way leads out of the cave so you pick a direction and run. After a few minutes you lose the spider so you stop running. That's when you realize that you went even deeper into the cave.
You push these thoughts from your mind as you turn your attention to the cocooned elf girl you were dragging. After a few minutes of work you manage to free her. She introduces herself as Syllia and you tell her your name. She then tells you she was headed to the elf village like you when she encountered the spider.
“So how are we going to get out of here?” Syllia asks you.
“Well we can’t go back the way we came in because of the giant spider.” You reply, “So I guess we have no choice but to go deeper and hope that this cave has a second exit.”
Syllia nods in agreement and the two of you begin to walk even deeper into the cave. After a few minutes of walking you notice a camp fire up ahead.
Syllia sighs in relief and starts to approach the camp fire hopeful that someone there can lead the two of you out of the cave.
“Wait!” You whisper to her as you grab her wrist to stop her, “Don’t you think it’s suspicious that someone made a camp inside a cave with a giant spider near the entrance?”
