The trio of gals, (with Toadette in tow!) headed towards the Power Star that they saw far away and watched as it seemingly grew larger the more they drew closer to it. When they were almost there, however, what they saw was not just a Power Star, but also a small army of koopas moving in on them. There were nine koopatrols and three koopas, and they formed a blockade between the Power Star and the princesses who coveted it.
"Hey, what gives?!" Daisy yelled with her hands on her hips and a pout on her face.
"Well, we're not just gonna give you the Power Star. What did you expect?" A bored looking koopa shot back, apparently not especially motivated by the prospect of facing the princesses in battle.
"Oh yeah, well... good point, I guess." Daisy conceded, the anger disappearing from her face and being replaced with mildly embarrassed understanding. "Well, if it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!"
"I mean, cool, I guess." The disinterested koopa said, checking the position of the sun in the sky. "I'm just doing this to get paid, so take as long as you need to fight us."
"It's not as much fun when they don't care..." Daisy whined to her friends.
"This is not simple fun, Daisy. We must be careful here- we are outnumbered by quite a bit. It is imperative that we think deeply prior to acting." Rosalina chastised.
"Yeah, that kinda sucks, actually. 3 to 12 isn't exactly a fair fight. What are we gonna do?" Daisy asked, looking to her fellow fighters for answers.
"Well..." Peach began, rubbing her chin in deep thought.
"Remember the stuff you did before, and think about what makes the most sense now!" Toadette pitched in.
