You think about it, but decide that there is no point of trying to fake being sick in front of your mother, since she's done nurse training. You immediately give up the façade, and tell her about the fears and anxieties that you have been feeling all morning, and about your fears about your new schoolmates. Though she has a quick cringe, she quickly tells you that the rumours and stories are just made up bullshit, to scare new people. Hearing those words come out of your mothers mouth makes you feel a bit more calm, but your emotions still run somewhat rampant...
