You step into the dark water, and you feel your bare feet sinking into the mud near the edge of the river. Not sure whether you like the sensation or feel disgusted by it, you press on, stepping deeper and deeper into the river. You walk through the reeds and the water slowly rises up your body. The water is surprisingly warm, so that’s not unpleasant, and before long you can pull your feet free of the mud to start swimming easily across.
Unfortunately, you’re almost halfway there when you feel the first bite… you yelp as something rips a small chunk out of your meaty ass. You reach back and feel a small hole about the size of the tip of your little finger…
“Ow… ow!” you yelp, starting to panic as you feel something take a chunk out of your leg, then your arm. Something slides around your upper body, swimming quickly by, and a second later you realize whatever it was just tore off your right nipple!
In a sudden panic, you make a desperate attempt to swim to safety… but it’s too late. As you thrash desperately with your arms and legs, points of pain burst into life all over your body as what feels like hundreds of fish surround you and start munching hungrily at your lovely flesh. You scream and continue determinedly, but after about forty feet your forward progress ends, and you sink instead. The surface of the river churns, and the water takes on a reddish color. One hand surfaces a few seconds later, clutching at the sky with little more than scraps of flesh and tendon on bones, before sinking out of sight. After that, other than as small chunks of meat, you never resurface.
Foolish female… you’re food for the fishes.
