Unfortunatley, Eridor is powerless in his current position. He can do nothing as he slides off of the bird's tongue, into it's throat. With a powerful gulp, Eridor is pulled into the hungry bird's esophagus. Muscely walls caress him, and cover him with slime as the pull him down, deeper into the birds body. Eridor feels like he is being crushed by the powerful throat muscles.
Finally, Eridor slides out of the throat and lands with a splash in a small puddle. He opens his eyes and looks around. Eridor is inside of the bird's stomach, in a pool of sticky mucus. All around him are pink stomach lining, slowly moving and giving off unnerving gurgling sounds. The stench of the bird's belly is horrible, which to Eridor smells like a combination of mountains of rotten fish, as well as a stench that smells like lots of vinegar. His fur was matted down to him body by the bird's slimy throat. All around him, Eridor sees piles of half-digested dead fish. Luckily for Eridor, bird's have two stomachs, and only the second one digested. For now, he was safe. Eridor stood up, but the stomach walls suddenly shook, knocking Eridor back down. Below him, the gurgling noises began to get louder.
