The Adventures of Lulu - Page 98 - Moki and the Collar - By Megaladong - Overview
"I'll take it to Moki," you tell him.

He tells you, "thank you Lulu. You've been so kind to me, even though I don't deserve it. Hopefully one day I can return the favor."

"Goodbye Duke," you smile back. You turn around to leave.

"Wait," he says. You turn back around, "You said you want to become a raichu? You're going to Thunder Mountain then, right? I know the way and the area too. Where we met the fork in the trail you want to go on the northwest path. The other one will eventually lead to Thunder Mountain but it's a long dangerous one. You'd have to travel through plains and mountains and a desert, all filled with dangerous predators. For your sake, don't go that way.

The other way is dangerous as well but much shorter and less so, so long as you know what to look for. When you take that path you will run across a crystal clear still pond. Do not drink from it or disturb the water in any way. It is a dragonair's pond. He sleeps at the bottom and waits for prey to disturb his water. He's an ass too. Given you're in heat he'll probably tell you if you fuck him he'll let you go but afterwards eat you anyways.

After that it should be pretty safe so long as you don't leave the trail, until you get to the river. The trail leads to a low water river crossing, you should be able to walk across without getting your chest wet. However, a powerful golduck guards it. He will gobble you up in a heartbeat but if you follow some rules you'll be fine. Listen closely.

First, he's a friend of mine if you tell him 'the new moon rises' he will know I sent you. He won't eat you if he knows we're friends but that doesn't mean he won't try and fuck you. He's a horndog.

Second don't say a word to him, other than 'the new moon rises.' If you do he will be able to control your mind and you will be at his perverse mercy. He will try and get you to talk, DON'T.

Lastly do not look at his face, especially the gem in his forehead. If you do he will be able to control your mind. It's best just to look at his webbed feet. Remember, keep your head down and don't say a word except 'the new moon rises.' Okay?"

"Okay, thank you."

"Oh, and one more thing, the area we first met was full of bellsprouts. I'm pretty sure I killed all of them but I might have missed one or two. When they are in big groups they all jump out and wrap your limbs up and pull you apart alive. Then they eat the part they tore from you.

It's a bad way to go but when there's not many of them they have a different hunting technique. They wait alone in berry bushes, then when you enter they will blow Poison Powder in your face. If that happens, you're as good as plant food.

They are well camouflaged and you won't see them unless you know what to look for.  The secret is to look for their yellow. You'd be surprised how hard it can be to see especially if you don't know what to look for.
That's it. I've never been much farther than the river crossing so you're on your own after that but if you can make it that far I think you'll do fine. Thank you again Lulu, for everything. I hope I'll see you again one day, as a raichu," he turns and walks away, disappearing into the forest.

You sigh. That was an intense last couple hours. You almost got killed three times, raped and almost led a monster to your friends but somehow you came out on top. Its time to give the collar to Moki.

You run back to the camp with the collar in your mouth, hoping they haven't left yet. You come on the campsite, they are still there. Moki has completely packed up and has all her supplies on her back. Dutchess is chewing on a stick.

"Come on Duchess. We need to leave now to get back before night fall," Moki says. Dutchess yips back.

"Wait!" You yell and run out into the open.

"Lulu? Lulu!" Duchess starts prancing around.

"Huh?" Moki looks at you, "the little pikachu. Sorry Miss but I'm out of Pokéfood but maybe next time I come out I'll bring you more."

You run up to her and pant with the collar in your mouth. You sit down trying to catch your breath. She bends down, "what's in your mouth?" She takes the collar out of your mouth and reads the tag. "What? How did you find this? Does this mean Duke is dead?" She looks at you. You give her sad eyes, telling her yes. "And Tok?" Your eyes fill with tears and you nod your head.

She looks stunned. She sits down on her ass and takes off the backpack. She brings her knees up to her face, wraps her arms around her legs and starts crying.

"What's wrong?" Duchess asked.

"That's Tok's eevee's collar. I asked some of the local Pokémon about Tok. They told me she died and they gave me her eevee's collar as proof," you lie to her, the truth would be too brutal.

"Oh. How did she die?"

"It's better if you don't know," that time you don't lie to her.

"Oh okay. Thank you so much Lulu. That proof means alot to her." Duchess walks over to Moki and nuzzles her leg.

Moki stops crying and looks a Duchess. Moki opens her leg and Dutchess jumps up and starts licking her tears. Moki falls back and starts laughing. Duchess licks her face more.

"Okay, okay, okay," Moki stands up. Her face is still sad but she is crying less. The collar is still in her hand. "Thank you little pikachu," she smiles at you. She picks up her backpack and tells Duchess to come on.

"Goodbye Lulu! I hope we meet again soon," Duchess tells you. As they walk into the forest, Moki looks back at you and smiles. You smile back and she leaves.

You sigh, you're glad all that worked out. You feel good, like a high stakes therapist. A new resolve for your quest to find a Thunder Stone builds in you. It's a good one. You will bring peace to the wild. You will use your power for good, to help and not to hurt. You smile as you walk back to the fork in the path.
